Inspired by the natural layers of earth’s crust, the mix of materials and thicknesses gives this piece a stunning stratum effect. Between layers of slate mirrors catch and reflect the light, seeming to almost lift the stone and hold it in the air. The base is made of a sealed rusted piece of metal delicately cut in shape to echo the waves crashing on the piece of stone. The piece comes with two hidden drawers that open when you grab one of the slates.
