The Rochester collection features items that are both complex and elegant: it is made up of a sideboard, a cabinet and a set of three floor lamps.
The design emulates Rochester Falls’ columnar basalts through a wooden–brass topography, as though the entire piece originated from a single block of timber crystalized into a multitude of hexagonal columns.
The cabinets are composed of more than 3000 pieces of hexagonal columns, all carved in solid Wenge wood and skillfully finished. The columns were meticulously assembled one by one, by hand.
The wooden internal structure is covered in premium quality Italian leather, with a gold and bronze leaf finish, and gold-finished mirrored metal sheets. The metal parts are all polished solid brass hexagonal columns.
